Today I participated in my first writer's workshop at the Life Journeys Writers Guild (LJWG). The event was called "Nuts and Bolts" where participants read a portion of their work and received feedback from their peers. I appreciated the feedback from my peers and I enjoyed their work. Also, I got to meet the group leader Yvonne and hear from K.N. Jackson, whose book was recently turned into a stage play thanks to LJWG. I encourage anyone that's thinking about writing to do it. Find a local group in your community and join. It's so insightful. To learn more about LJWG, click here.
